Private commissions for teams that need something more specific than an off-the-shelf resource — from focused integrations to larger gameplay systems.
01
Scope
What custom work can cover
Custom work is best when the problem is specific and the outcome can be defined. Projects can range from a focused integration to a complete server-facing system with UI, configuration and documentation.
Custom FiveM gameplay resources and server systems.
UI/UX design and implementation for existing server workflows.
Integrations between compatible frameworks and third-party resources.
Private extensions to Vanta products where the licence and architecture allow it.
Performance, maintainability and configuration improvements to an agreed project scope.
02
Process
A clear project before code starts
Larger work should begin with a short discovery phase. The goal is to agree what is being built, what is outside scope, what the server already uses and how acceptance will be judged.
Discovery: goals, users, current stack and constraints.
Scope: concrete features, integrations, deliverables and exclusions.
Proposal: price, milestones, assumptions and estimated schedule.
Build: staged implementation with agreed review points.
Acceptance: test the agreed requirements before final handover.
03
Project brief
What to send in the first message
A useful brief does not need to be long, but it should explain the server, the problem and the required result. Screenshots or examples are useful when they describe behaviour rather than asking for a direct copy of somebody else’s protected work.
A one-paragraph description of the server and target players.
The problem the project should solve.
Required features and any features that are explicitly out of scope.
Framework, database, inventory, target, voice and other major dependencies.
Target launch window, budget range and who will approve the finished work.
04
Handover
Make the result maintainable
The finished project should be usable after delivery, not dependent on guesswork. Handover can include agreed configuration notes, install steps, version information and the source/access level defined in the proposal.
Installation and configuration instructions for the agreed environment.
A list of required dependencies and versions.
Notes for any custom events, exports, commands or permissions.
Agreed testing fixes for defects within the delivered scope.
Clear ownership, licence and redistribution terms for the commissioned work.
Quick answers
Common questions.
Do you take every custom project?
No. A project needs a clear scope, a realistic schedule and a stack that can be supported properly. Work may be declined when the brief is too vague, the deadline is unrealistic or the request depends on unsupported third-party code.
Can you copy another paid resource exactly?
The better route is to describe the workflow or problem you want solved. Custom work should be original and should not reproduce protected code, assets or a competitor’s product wholesale.
Can a project be split into milestones?
Yes. Larger projects are easier to control when discovery, core implementation, integrations, testing and handover have clear acceptance points.
Will custom work receive ongoing updates?
Ongoing maintenance should be agreed separately from the initial build unless the proposal explicitly includes a maintenance period or future update arrangement.
HAVE A REAL BRIEF?
Tell us what you need built.
Include the server stack, the problem, required features, target date and budget range. That is enough to decide whether the project is a good fit for a proper discovery call.
